Trade show representation

Don't fly twelve hours to walk a show. Send someone who lives there.

BuyHive matches you with a vetted procurement professional in the show's own city. They work the halls for you — shortlisting booths, benchmarking prices and MOQs, checking compliance, collecting samples and opening the negotiation in the local language — and you get the written report within 48 hours of the show closing.

The real cost of attending

What a show trip actually costs you — and what you keep

A five-day show in Guangzhou is not a $1,150 flight. It is flights, hotel, meals and hospitality, a visa, transfers, a hired interpreter — and a week of your own working time at your own day rate. Set the figures to your own; the comparison updates as you type.

Your trip

Everything starts from the show you have in mind.

Used only for the time you would otherwise spend travelling and on the floor. Set it to 0 to ignore your own time.

Indicative planning baselines for 2026–27, in USD. Change the show, the origin or the day count and every figure recalculates. Nothing on this page is a quote — the quote comes back with your matched expert, fixed, within 24 hours.

How it works

From brief to show report in four moves

Matching happens behind the scenes. You see one thing: a shortlist of experts with a fixed price and a delivery date, and you approve it before anything starts.

1

Send the brief

The show and its dates, the product categories, how many experts you need, target prices, volumes and certifications. Ten minutes on the form below.

What you receive

The show report is the product

Not a folder of business cards. A decision-ready shortlist, with the numbers behind it, delivered within 48 hours of the show closing.

01

Booth-by-booth shortlist

Every supplier worth a second look, with hall and booth number, the contact's name and title, and what they actually make.

02

Verified supplier profiles

Factory or trading company, years in business, export markets, main customers, and the certifications they can show you.

03

Price, MOQ & lead-time benchmarks

Quoted unit price, MOQ, tooling cost and lead time per product per supplier, side by side in Excel.

04

Photo & video walkthrough

What the products look like on the stand, in your colours if you asked, plus short video of the lines that matter most.

05

Samples collected and shipped

Samples requested on the floor, consolidated, and couriered to your address with the tracking reference in the report.

06

Negotiation notes

Opening quotes, what moved when volume or terms were raised, what held firm, and the next three asks worth making.

Show calendar

Canton Fair to CES — and the shows in between

Confirmed dates are read from the organiser's own show pages. Expected dates follow the published pattern of the show and are re-checked before we quote. If your show is not here, add it to the brief.

Reading the badges. “Confirmed” means the organiser publishes those dates. “Expected” means the show runs on that pattern but the next edition's dates were not yet published when this page was built (October 2026) — we re-check every date when we confirm your brief. Fashion, apparel, electronics, home and industrial shows in China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, India, Germany, the USA and Brazil are all covered by the network.

The network

Who you'd be sending

Live profiles from the BuyHive network — real people, real category depth, on the ground in the market where the show is held. These twelve are a sample: matching is done behind the scenes against your brief, and you approve the profile before anything starts.

On the numbers. The portal holds 3,000+ sourcing professionals; 595 profiles are publishable today and 116 are quarantined for a source-data fix on their category fields — so a directory of this size shows a sample, not the whole bench. Percentages shown are the network's positive-engagement score; review counts are being restored before any review markup is published, in line with the site's structured-data policy.

Three ways to cover a show

You go · a local agent · a BuyHive expert

The middle column is what most buyers try first. It is cheaper than flying, but the relationship, the margin and the follow-up usually stay with the agent.

Questions buyers ask

Before you send a brief

Why send an expert instead of going myself?
A five-day show abroad costs a buyer roughly $8,000–$12,000 once flights, hotel, per diems, entertainment, a visa, an interpreter and a week of lost working time are counted. A local expert already lives in that market, already knows the factories, and covers the halls faster because there is no travel, no jet lag and no language barrier. You keep the supplier relationship and the margin.
How are the experts matched to my brief?
Matching happens behind the scenes. We shortlist on four things: depth in your product category, the show's own market, the languages the show is conducted in, and their record of show-floor work. You receive one to three profiles with the scope, fixed price and delivery date, and nothing starts until you approve it.
What exactly do I receive after the show?
A written show report within 48 hours of the show closing: a booth-by-booth shortlist with hall and booth numbers, verified supplier profiles, price, MOQ and lead-time benchmarks in Excel, photographs and video of the products you asked about, samples collected and couriered to you, negotiation notes with opening quotes, and a compliance check against the certifications you specified.
Can the expert negotiate on my behalf?
Yes. Give the expert your target price, volume and terms in the brief and they will open the negotiation on the floor, in the local language, and record what was quoted, what moved and what did not. Commitments that bind you commercially are confirmed with you first.
What if the show I want is not on your list?
Choose “Other show” in the brief and tell us the show, the city and the dates. We cover 46 sourcing markets and 19 product categories, so if we have a vetted expert in that market we will confirm within 24 hours; if we do not, we will tell you that instead of guessing.
How many experts do I need?
One expert covers one product category well across a multi-hall show. Buyers covering two unrelated categories, or a show as large as Canton Fair or CES, usually take two or three so that every hall and every category gets proper time. Tell us how many you need and we will price it; if we think one expert cannot cover the brief honestly, we will say so.
Is the price fixed before work starts?
Yes. You approve a fixed fee and a delivery date before the expert starts. There is no travel mark-up, because the expert lives in the market: no flights, no hotel, no per diems and no visa to pay for.
Are the experts vetted?
Every expert passes the same five gates before they appear in the network: identity and right-to-work verification, professional reference checks, category and market testing, a live interview, and a tracked first engagement. The average network experience is 13 years in procurement or sourcing.
