How it works: from brief to factory shortlist

You're not buying hours or a subscription. You're buying a defined output, delivered by a vetted procurement professional who already works in your source market.

1

Brief the project

Product, market, volumes, target price, compliance or certification needs, and the deadline you're working to. Five minutes.

Get matched

We shortlist the expert with the right category depth and on-the-ground access, and confirm scope, price and delivery date with you before work starts.

Receive the sourcing report

The expert runs the search, screens factories and delivers the shortlist with factory, product and pricing detail in Excel or PDF.

Days, not weeks

Beyond the report

Add the work you don't want to do yourself

Start with a shortlist, or hand over the whole path to a finished, inspected order.

Sourcing & supplier discovery

Category-specific factory search, screening, comparison and shortlist with pricing. Delivered as a sourcing report.

Sampling & negotiation

Sample coordination, spec feedback loops, price and MOQ negotiation, and terms you can actually live with.

QC & inspections

Pre-production, during-production and pre-shipment checks by someone who is physically at the factory.

Manufacturing management

Production follow-up, timeline control, issue escalation and shipment coordination through to delivery.

Contract manufacturing

End-to-end from manufacturer selection to negotiation, production and delivery, with BuyHive coordinating the project.

Trade financing

Working-capital options to fund production and bridge the cash-flow gap between order and delivery.

Reliability

Why vetted experience is the whole point

Sourcing goes wrong when the person doing it has never bought the product before, can't visit the factory, or has no reputation to lose. That's why every BuyHive expert passes five gates before they see a project — and why buyer ratings decide who stays.

Questions

Before you brief

What if the expert doesn't find anything suitable?
Scope is agreed before work starts, including what "suitable" means for your product. If a project can't be delivered to the agreed scope, we'll say so early and agree a change or a refund under the buyer terms rather than deliver something unusable.
Who owns the manufacturer relationship?
You do. The expert introduces and qualifies factories; you contract and pay the factory directly. BuyHive takes no commission on your orders.
Can I reuse the same expert next time?
Yes. If the first project goes well you can brief the same expert again, or keep them for ongoing QC and production follow-up.
What do you need from me to start?
A product description or reference sample, your target price and volume, and any compliance or certification requirements. If you have a spec sheet, drawings or a competitor product, that speeds up the search.
Is my project confidential?
Your brief and any materials you share are handled under our buyer terms and shared only with the matched expert for the purpose of delivering your project.
